After you input your HSA or FSA card along with another credit or debit card, click on “Complete Purchase.” Once your transaction is finalized, Flex will send you a confirmation email to the address specified in your original order.
Depending on your card issuer, you may have the option to complete your purchase by partially paying with your HSA or FSA card. If your issuer supports partial authorization, the subtotal for HSA/FSA-eligible items will automatically be adjusted to match the remaining balance available on your HSA or FSA card. You can then use a different credit or debit card to cover any remaining costs and finish your purchase.
You will receive an electronic receipt in your order confirmation email, which can be used for reimbursement through your insurance provider. Reach out to your HSA or FSA provider to confirm that your purchase complies with their requirements, since plan providers and employers may establish their own eligibility rules. In certain situations, your HSA or FSA provider may need additional documentation for reimbursement.
