In a historic moment during Super Bowl LIX, held on February 9, 2025, Cooper made headlines by scoring a remarkable pick-six on his 22nd birthday, leading the Philadelphia Eagles to a commanding 40-22 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs. This achievement made him the first player in Super Bowl history to score a touchdown on his birthday, etching his name in the record books.
The marvelous play occurred in the second quarter when Cooper intercepted a pass from Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, intended for wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins. With elite instincts, he stepped in front of the receiver and sprinted 38 yards to the end zone, extending the Eagles’ lead to 17-0 and setting the tone for a decisive victory.
