5. All body composition data provided is for reference and should not be used as a substitute for advice from a licensed healthcare professional.

6. Do not overload the scale. (Maximum Capacity: 400 lbs / 180 kg)

7. Inspect the scale for any damage before each use. Do not use a damaged scale to avoid inaccuracy or injury.

8. Only use the provided charging cable and charger (DC 5V 1A, not included) to charge the scale.

9. To ensure accuracy, use the scale on a hard, flat and dry surface.

10. To avoid interference or danger, do not use the scale in an environment near equipment with strong electromagnetic fields.

11. To prevent injury, do not stand on the edges of the scale, jump on or stomp it.

12. The scale is a delicate and precise measuring device. Handle with care to avoid breakage.

13. The scale is not waterproof. Keep it dry and never submerge it in water. To clean the surface, use a damp cloth or glass cleaner. Do not use soap or chemical cleaning agents.

14. Do not expose the scale to direct sunlight or use it in high temperatures or extremely humid areas. Store the scale in a cool, dry place.

15. Do not attempt to disassemble the scale for any reason, as this may cause damage or void the warranty.

About the Battery:

1. Do not expose the appliance or battery to excessive temperatures.

2. Be aware of the risk of terminals of the battery-operated appliance or battery being short- circuited by metal objects.

3. This appliance contains batteries that are non-replaceable. When the battery is at end of life, the appliance shall be properly disposed of.

4. Do not dismantle, open or shred battery.

5. Do not subject cells or batteries to mechanical shock.

6. In the event of a cell leaking, do not allow the liquid to come in contact with the skin or eyes. If contact has been made, wash the affected area with copious amounts of water and seek medical advice.

7. Secondary cells and batteries need to be charged before use. Always use the correct charger and refer to the manufacturer's instructions or product manual for proper charging instructions.

8. Do not leave a battery on prolonged charge when not in use.

9. After extended periods of storage, it may be necessary to charge and discharge the cells or batteries several times to obtain maximum performance.

10. CAUTION - The battery used in this device may present a risk of fire or chemical burn if mistreated. Do not recharge, disassemble, heat above 100°C (212°F).

1. To initialize the scale, use a pin (not included) to press the Reset Button or connect the scale to a power source using the provided charging cable and charger (not included).

1. Download the Renpho Health App

Scan the QR code below or search for "Renpho Health" from the App Store or Google Play to download the app.

System requirement: iOS 12.0 or later, Android 7.0 or later

Note: Due to continuous updates and improvements, the "Renpho Health" App may appear slightly different.

2. Log in & Sign up

a. Log in directly with an existing Renpho App account.

b. If you do not have any Renpho App account, tap "Sign up" to register an account for Renpho Health App using your email address and fill in your personal information; this step is required for calculating your health measurements accurately.

Note: You may also log in using Guest Mode if you do not wish to register. However, your measurement data will not be saved if you log in the app on another device.

3. Pair the Scale

Before pairing, enable the wireless setting on your smartphone.

a. Open the Renpho Health App, place the scale on a hard and flat surface, and step onto it with bare and dry feet.

b. Tap "+" in the upper-right corner of the "Home" page and select yourbody fat scale from the device list.

c. Follow the in-app instructions to complete pairing.

Note:
• Once you have successfully paired the scale with the app, establish a Wi-Fi connection for automatic data synchronization, eliminating the need for a constant connection.

• After successful connection, you can customize the displayed information (up to 5 indicators) on the scale and choose your preferred avatar via the app.

4. Set up Wi-Fi Connectivity

Go to "Device" page, tap ""of the scale that has been connected and follow the in-app instructions to complete Wi-Fi connection.

Note:
• Select the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and enter the correct Wi-Fi password. 5GHz Wi-Fi networks are not currently compatible with this scale.

• Once the Wi-Fi icon appears on the scale's display, it indicates a successful connection.

Tap " " in the upper-right corner of this page and follow the on-screen instructions to enter chroma customization settings, including color theme, weight health reading, sound activation, time activation and ambient light.

1. Color Theme

*The scale will show the chosen theme once you step onto it.

a. Tap "Color Theme" on the "Chroma Customization" page to choose a theme or disable lighting effects.

b. Tap "More" to access more theme and lighting effect options, and save.

2. Weight Health Reading

*Once you enable the mode, the scale will show the color that corresponds to your weight measure_x005fment to provide visual feedback on your weight's health status. For example, if your weight falls within the "Standard" range, the scale will show green.

To access the weight health reading mode, tap "Weight Health Reading" and toggle the switch to turn it on or off.

3. Sound Activation

a. Tap "Sound Activation" to access the sound activation mode.

b. Switch on the mode, and if the scale detects nearby sounds, it will automatically light up between 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., based on the time displayed on your smartphone.

Note: Increased power consumption of the scale may occur when this mode is enabled.

4. Time Activation

*Once you enable the time activation mode and set the alarm time, the scale will automatically light up at the specified time.

a. To set an alarm

• Tap "Time Activation" to set an alarm and theme for your alarm.

• Tap "+" or "Add" to select the desired alarm time. You can also choose one of these options:

Repeat: tap to set up a recurring alarm.

Remarks: tap to name your alarm.

• Tap "Save".

b. To edit an alarm

Tap the alarm, make your changes and then tap "Save".

c. To delete an alarm

Swipe left over the alarm and tap "".

5. Ambient Light

Before switching on the mode, please ensure:

a. The scale is connected to the power supply using the provided charging cable.

b. The current power level of the scale is more than 50%.

6. Unit conversion

To switch units, go to "Settings" in the lower-right corner of this page > "Units".

Calibrate the scale before each use to ensure accuracy.

1. Place the scale on a flat, hard surface. Avoid any carpeting.

2. Step on the scale with a single foot to activate it and then step off.

3. The display will show "CAL" and then "0.0" or "0.00" to indicate calibrating is complete.

Tip: To directly obtain your data of weight, BMI and body fat from the scale's display, connect the scale to the Renpho Health App and perform an initial measurement for future user identification.

1. Make sure the scale is placed on a flat, hard surface.

2. After calibrating the scale, step on the scale with bare and dry feet and keep still. Once you hear 2 short beeps, it indicates measuring is complete.

3. After measuring, the scale will transmit the data to the app. Open the app to sync and view your detailed measurements, track your progress, and access additional features and insights.

Other Issues

Problem	Solution
The scale cannot detect body fat and/or other data.	a. Ensure your feet are dry and bare. b. Stand and keep still until the final measurement(s) appear on the scale's display. If still not available, try applying moisturizer to your feet and measure again or ask another person to try the 2 steps mentioned above.
I registered an account on the RENPHO website but failed to use it to log in to the Renpho Health App.	The RENPHO website and Renpho Health App are two separate systems. Please create an account for the Renpho Health App.
I can get my data of weight, body fat and BMI from the scale's display, but my family or friends failed.	Your family or friends must complete their profile information on your app using the "add a member" function or log in to the Renpho Health App with their own account.
