  1. The MorphoScan Nova Scale must be used with the RENPHO Health App. When linking the scale to the app, please fill in your personal information accurately so as not to affect data accuracy.

  2. Place the scale on a flat surface and avoid measuring when wearing socks.

  3. Stand barefoot on the Scale to increase measurement accuracy.

  4. Body fat percentage is suitable for users between 10 and 100 years old.

  5. The scale is only for daily use at home, and should not be considered for medical purposes. A medical professional should be consulted when undertaking any dietary modification or exercise program.
  6. Children under 8 or individuals who are pregnant, have osteoporosis, a pacemaker, artificial joints, portable ECG or other metal implants should use the scale for weighing purposes only and make sure to wear shoes to prevent any electric current when stepping onto the scale.

  7. The minimum operating system requirements for our app are iOS 12.0 and Android 7.0.

Yes. The scale is designed for the entire family. It automatically recognizes who is stepping on it based on their unique body metrics. While the scale stores data locally, the Renpho Health App supports unlimited user profiles, allowing everyone to track their own trends privately and independently.
How accurate is the MorphoScan Nova?

It is 98% as consistent as a medical-grade DEXA scan which are the "gold standard" for body composition.
What is the difference between Elis (4 electrode) and MorphoScan (8 electrode scale)?

Elis (entry-level smart scale) only have sensors on the base of the scale. The electrical current travels through one foot, up into the lower body (pelvis), and back down through the other foot. Elis primarily measure the lower body and use mathematical algorithms to estimate the upper body's composition. MorphoScan (advanced body composition scale) have sensors on both the scale and the handheld bar. The current travels through both the upper and lower body, covering the arms, legs, and torso. By measuring 5 distinct body segments separately, MorphoScan provide much more precise data on visceral fat and muscle distribution. Studies show a significantly higher correlation (up to 98%) with hospital-grade DEXA scans.
Is RENPHO HEALTH app free to use?

Yes, the RENPHO Health app is completely free to download and use on both iOS and Android devices.
Is RENPHO smart scale compatible with Apple Health and other fitness apps?

Our app syncs data with major health apps, including Apple Health, Samsung Health, and Fitbit. Once you connect the scale to your phone via Bluetooth, any measurement you take will populate in our app and then push that data to your connected third-party apps.
Why is there a handle on the scale?

The handle is the key to8-electrode precision. By holding it, you create a full electrical circuit through your body, allowing the scale to measure your arms and torso directly rather than just guessing based on your legs. Unlike other scales, the Nova’s handle also houses a color display, so you can view your full segmental report comfortably without needing to look down or check your phone.
