Illustrative of true innovation, RENPHO's science-backed deep-relaxation technology enabled Headspace to translate its meditative expertise into a physical relaxation product.
About the TIME Best Inventions of 2026 award
The TIME Best Inventions issue has served as an important benchmark for the most impactful innovations for a quarter century. Backed by heavyweight editors and correspondents, it highlights products that exude originality, efficacy, ambition, and impact.
"The TIME Best Inventions list is not only a showcase of exciting high-tech products. It also reflects the sheer breadth and fast pace of the modern world," said Toby Yu, CEO of RENPHO. "That is why we look in many directions for inspiration. Partnering with Headspace, we re-center self-care in an always-on world, pairing real physical relief with the power of mindfulness, so people can reset and recharge with ease."
The RENPHO x Headspace Eyeris Zen Eye Massager builds on RENPHO's popular Eyeris Zen, first introduced in 2025, with a deeper, multi-sensory relaxation experience designed for modern recovery. Powered by RENPHO's extra-quiet motors, a feather-light fit, customizable heat modes, and Headspace tracks, it delivers phone-free immersive meditations that help you switch off in an always-on world.
TIME's Special Mention adds to a growing list of honors for the Eyeris Zen, including PureWow's 2026 Best Sleep Ever Awards and the POPSUGAR Feel-Good Awards—each a nod to what the Eyeris Zen was built to do: pair soothing heat, targeted compression, and calming audio to help you unwind.
